God's Will

God's Will

God’s will starts with trust #

  • Proverbs 3:5-6
  • And this applies to all decisions, no matter how big or small

God’s wisdom is available #

  • James 1:5
  • Wisdom: to live in a way that’s pleasing to God
  • TLDR, we must make all of our decisions in accordance to what God finds pleasing

God’s will is about walking, not worrying #

  • Colossians 1:9-10
  • Life is all about obeying God, and we will be blessed.
  • There is nothing to worry about if we truly trust in God and in his plan.
  • Don’t worry about the future and about how life is headed. Trust in God that he will provide, and put all of your decisions into what God finds pleasing.

So what is our primary focus? #

  • It may be work, or study, or your future. But we need to stay grounded and trust in wherever it is you’re headed Knowing his will is living according to God’s word on a day to day basis
  • And if you do as such, you get to have the wisdom of God, you don’t have worries, and you will be trusting in God. But how do we juggle our needs? For example, sometimes we’re in need of financial aid, or emotional help.
  • Imagine a situation where your parents cant help w tuition. and all of a sudden you dont have a car and you sont have money for food. imagine everything is stripped away. and then you ask yourself, “what is God’s will in my life?”
  • What should we do?
    • Praise the Lord. For the fact that we even have life. To be in a position to even have hardships. To be able to have a relationship with God. Basically nothing else matters in life, and continue to trust in God that things will workout and be better. Just continue to praise God and live day by day in a way that’s pleasing to the Lord.
