What feels final to us, is not final to God #
The women go to the tomb expecting a deceased Jesus. But as they arrive, “They approach the tomb with fear”. They assume the worst, because they’ve already seen the worst. They had a belief based off of their observation. But they were wrong. The empty tomb proved to them that their initial beliefs were in fact wrong. So what feels final to us is not final to God
We can restart from wherever we are #
The resurrection of Jesus doesn’t remove fear from us. But instead it gives us the ability to overcome fear. The witnesses of Jesus’ resurrection immediately set out to share the good news, even though they were initially afraid to even approach the tomb. And there were those who heard of it but didn’t believe it. But when Jesus appeared before them, they immediately did the same. It doesn’t matter how we start, we can always change our ways and obey. All it takes is to take the first step of accepting Jesus.
